Hi, my name is Ginger, and I'm a dog fostered in El Paso, TX!
I came to rescue because I wound up at the shelter with an injured foot. My toe looked incredibly infected. The shelter called From The Heart to see if they could help, otherwise I'd have to be put to sleep. A nice foster family volunteered to take me in so that I could receive the medical care I needed. After a vet visit, we learned that I had cancer in my toe! Luckily it hadn't spread anywhere else. My toe was amputated, and I feel a lot better.
I'm a really good girl, but with my age I have developed a heart murmur. The vet says I don't have much time left. I'm currently in fospice care with the nicest family ever. They will care for me and ensure I have quality of life until the end.
Please consider making a sponsorship donation so that I can continue receiving my medication and vet visits while in foster care.
Thank you for caring!
